Thank you for your patience regarding the latest repair update with our JCSMRC’s gangways.

Following our latest assessment this week, it has become apparent that both gangways that connect the pontoon and river wall require urgent repair. Our aim is to resume water training with one gangway in operation as soon as possible. Subject to the weather and tide conditions, the 1st part of the repair work will commence on Thursday 21st September and our target completion is approximately on Saturday 23rd September. Subject to the completion of repairs, water training will partially resume at JCSMRC on the following day of completion.

Meanwhile, please note that while water training partially resumed, the repair works on our second gangway (closer to the dragon boat pontoon) will be ongoing, members are advised not to access the gangway for safety reasons.

Finally, on behalf of HKCRA, we would like to thank you for your patience on the matter and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our aim is to provide a safe environment for all users and we look forward to welcoming you back at JCSMRC as soon as possible.
